This Cookie Policy explains how DeepXplore Labs GmbH uses cookies and similar technologies on deepxplore.io and app.deepxplore.io. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and request-based identifiers used for analytics. Some cookies are strictly necessary to run the site or keep you signed in. Others help us understand how the product is used.

Necessary technologies are processed to provide the service you request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) or, where needed, our legitimate interest in operating a secure site (Art. 6(1)(f)). Analytics on the app is based on our legitimate interest in understanding product usage in a privacy-conscious way (Art. 6(1)(f)). If we later introduce non-essential marketing cookies, we will rely on consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

3. Marketing website (deepxplore.io)

The public marketing website uses cookies or similar storage only as needed for basic function and security (for example load balancing or preventing abuse). We do not currently run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or a third-party cookie consent manager on deepxplore.io.

Cloudflare (necessary)

We use Cloudflare for DNS, content delivery, DDoS and bot protection, and encrypted tunnelling to our infrastructure. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies (for example bot-management cookies) and process IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site. Tunnelling itself does not set marketing cookies; it carries traffic between Cloudflare and our origin. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

4. Application (app.deepxplore.io)

The same Cloudflare DNS, security, and tunnelling described above may apply when you use the application.

Auth0 (necessary)

Sign-in uses Auth0, which sets session and security cookies so you can stay authenticated. These are required to provide the logged-in service. See Auth0’s data privacy documentation.

Vercel Web Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics on app.deepxplore.io to measure how the product is used: pages viewed, referrers, coarse geographic region, operating system, and browser. According to Vercel, this product is cookieless: visitors are identified by a hash derived from the incoming request that resets daily, without storing a tracking cookie and without cross-site tracking. We still disclose it here because it is analytics processing performed by Vercel as our processor.

Learn more: Vercel Analytics documentation and Vercel’s privacy policy.

5. Payments (Paddle)

When you open checkout or the customer portal, Paddle (merchant of record) may set cookies required to complete payment, prevent fraud, and remember checkout state. Those cookies are governed by Paddle. See Paddle’s privacy policy.

6. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies (including Auth0 session cookies or Cloudflare security cookies) may prevent the site, login, or checkout from working. Vercel Web Analytics does not rely on a stored analytics cookie; limiting it would require not using the app or additional product-side controls if we add them later.

We do not sell personal data collected through these technologies.

7. Changes

We will update this page when our use of cookies or analytics changes, including if we add analytics or marketing cookies on the marketing site.
